2 · Demand

Counts children under 5 near the site from Census tables and scores the shortage from 0 to 100. Estimates how many staff children under 5 need care, as a low to high range.

3 · Cost

Costs reserved places, a shared center and an on-site center with state care prices, the estimated 45F credit at 40 percent (50 percent for an eligible small business; the caps are adjusted for inflation after 2026) and the 2026 7,500 USD per employee dependent care limit.
